Hettie & Sam are proof that love conquers all. Amid the world pandemic they nearly had to postpone their wedding day entirely. Luckily by the time their wedding date came around, ceremonies of up to 10 guests could go ahead.
I was truly honoured to capture this very special day, literally capturing history of a wedding going ahead during the coronavirus lockdown. We had a lot of fun capturing some stunning photography, with the bride at one point being hoisted onto a tree branch!
The ceremony and mini reception was held at the beautiful Baptist Church in Oldfield Park, Bath. Part 2 of wedding celebrations follows next July, and will be held at in a gorgeous little country barn just outside Bath. This wedding date holds a very special meaning to this young couple, as they now share a wedding anniversary date with Sam's Parent's. A Silver and Golden dual wedding anniversary celebration would be spectacular.
Sarah is a lovely bubbly woman who I can't recommend enough! She captured the most beautiful pictures of our special day which we will cherish forever! She keeps in great contact leading up to the day as well as afterwards and always makes sure you get the photos you want and that everything goes perfectly she even gave me some great advice on how to remove creases from my veil. Sarah wasn't only our photographer but felt like another friend at the wedding as you can tell she genuinely cared about us as a couple, she made the experience so much fun and none of the photos felt forced. Can't wait for next year!
Thank you Sarah for capturing our special day and making it even more special.
